| Description | 2-(3,4-Dihydroxyphenyl)-5,7-dihydroxy-6,8-dimethoxy-3-{[(2S,3R,4S,5R)-3,4,5-trihydroxyoxan-2-yl]oxy}-4H-chromen-4-one belongs to the class of organic compounds known as flavonoid-3-o-glycosides. These are phenolic compounds containing a flavonoid moiety which is O-glycosidically linked to carbohydrate moiety at the C3-position. 3,5,7,3',4'-Pentahydroxy-6,8-dimethoxyflavone 3-alpha-L-arabinopyranoside is found in Cassia fistula . Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on 2-(3,4-dihydroxyphenyl)-5,7-dihydroxy-6,8-dimethoxy-3-{[(2S,3R,4S,5R)-3,4,5-trihydroxyoxan-2-yl]oxy}-4H-chromen-4-one. |
