Description(2S,3S,4R,5R,6S)-6-{[5,7-dihydroxy-4-oxo-2-(3,4,5-trihydroxyphenyl)-4H-chromen-3-yl]oxy}-3,4,5-trihydroxyoxane-2-carboxylic acid belongs to the class of organic compounds known as flavonoid-3-o-glucuronides. These are phenolic compounds containing a flavonoid moiety which is O-glycosidically linked to glucuronic acid at the C3-position. Myricetin 3-glucuronide is found in Betula pendula , Betula pubescens , Diplusodon helianthemifolius, Epilobium hirsutum, Eriogonum nudum, Eucalyptus occidentalis, Linanthus spp., Oenothera cheiranthifolia, Potentilla anserina , Richea angustifolia, Richea scoparia, Eugenia jambolana , Vitis spp. and Vitis vinifera. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on (2S,3S,4R,5R,6S)-6-{[5,7-dihydroxy-4-oxo-2-(3,4,5-trihydroxyphenyl)-4H-chromen-3-yl]oxy}-3,4,5-trihydroxyoxane-2-carboxylic acid.
