Common NameQuercetagetin 7-glucoside
DescriptionQuercetagetin 7-glucoside belongs to the class of organic compounds known as flavonoid-7-o-glycosides. These are phenolic compounds containing a flavonoid moiety which is O-glycosidically linked to carbohydrate moiety at the C7-position. Thus, quercetagetin 7-glucoside is considered to be a flavonoid. Quercetagetin 7-glucoside is found in Achillea biebersteinii, Achillea micrantha, Actinocephalus polyanthus, Tagetes erecta , Chrysactinia mexicana, Chrysanthemum spp., Clibadium spp., Clibadium surinamense, Coreopsis spp., Desmanthodium perfoliatum, Glossopappus macrotus, Helichrysum stoechas, Hymenoxys scaposa, Lepidophorum repandum, Leucanthemopsis flaveola, Nerolaena spp., Neurolaena lobata, Tagetes lucida and Tetragonotheca texana. Quercetagetin 7-glucoside was first documented in 2021 (PMID: 33672054). Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on Quercetagetin 7-glucoside.
