Common NameAzaleatin 3-glucoside
DescriptionAzaleatin 3-glucoside belongs to the class of organic compounds known as flavonoid-3-o-glycosides. These are phenolic compounds containing a flavonoid moiety which is O-glycosidically linked to carbohydrate moiety at the C3-position. Thus, azaleatin 3-glucoside is considered to be a flavonoid. Azaleatin 3-glucoside is found in Carya illinoinensis and Rhododendron simsii. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on Azaleatin 3-glucoside.
