DescriptionQuercetin 3,4'-bissulfate belongs to the class of organic compounds known as 3-sulfated flavonoids. These are flavonoids that are sulfated at the 3-ring position of the flavonoid skeleton. A quercetin bissulfate having the sulfo groups at the 3- and 4'-positions. Quercetin 3,4'-di-O-sulfate is found in Flaveria bidentis . Quercetin 3,4'-bissulfate is a very hydrophobic molecule, practically insoluble (in water), and relatively neutral.
