Thus, 8-hydroxygalangin 7-methyl ether is considered to be a flavonoid lipid molecule. 3,5,8-Trihydroxy-7-methoxy-2-phenyl-4H-1-benzopyran-4-one is found in Alnus sieboldiana, Notholaena spp. and Ozothamnus ledifolius. 8-Hydroxygalangin 7-methyl ether is a very hydrophobic molecule, practically insoluble (in water), and relatively neutral. |
