Description8-Hydroxyluteolin 8-glucoside belongs to the class of organic compounds known as flavonoid-8-o-glycosides. These are phenolic compounds containing a flavonoid moiety which is O-glycosidically linked to carbohydrate moiety at the C8-position. Thus, 8-hydroxyluteolin 8-glucoside is considered to be a flavonoid. 8-Hydroxyluteolin 8-glucoside is found in Crataegus monogyna, Crotalaria sessiliflora, Daphne gnidium, Lythrum salicaria, Podocarpus fasciculus, Setaria italica, Sideritis javalambrensis, Sideritis leucantha, Sideritis mugronensis, Sideritis pungens and Trigonella grandiflora. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on 8-hydroxyluteolin 8-glucoside.
