Common NameLuteolin 3'-glucoside
DescriptionLuteolin 3'-glucoside belongs to the class of organic compounds known as flavonoid o-glycosides. Flavonoid O-glycosides are compounds containing a carbohydrate moiety which is O-glycosidically linked to the 2-phenylchromen-4-one flavonoid backbone. Thus, luteolin 3'-glucoside is considered to be a flavonoid. Luteolin 3'-glucoside is found in Arnica chamissonis, Artemisia austriaca, Centaurea regia, Chrozophora tinctoria, Cynara cardunculus, Digitalis ciliata, Dioclea lasiophylla, Dracocephalum thymiflorum, Duhaldea cappa, Ferula varia, Ginkgo biloba, Hebe parviflora, Helichrysum arenarium, Hypericum erectum Thunb., Hypericum perforatum, Hypericum perforatum var.angustifolium , Lathyrus pratensis, Lawsonia inermis, Meehania urticifolia, Oxytropis campestris, Phyllocladus alpinus, Podocarpus nivalis, Punica granatum, Salvia moorcroftiana, Satureja cuneifolia, Saussurea hieracioides, Trichosanthes kirilowii, Trifolium trichocephalum and Veronica parviflora. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on Luteolin 3'-glucoside.
