Thus, licoflavone c is considered to be a flavonoid lipid molecule. 5,7-Dihydroxy-2-(4-hydroxyphenyl)-8-(3-methyl-2-butenyl)-4H-1-benzopyran-4-one is found in Artocarpus communis , Artocarpus heterophyllus, Dorstenia barter i var. multiradiata, Dorstenia barteri, Dorstenia ciliata, Dorstenia poinsettifolia, Ficus conraui, Genista ephedroides, Glycyrrhiza inflata and Cudrania cochinchinensis . Licoflavone c is a very hydrophobic molecule, practically insoluble (in water), and relatively neutral.
