Thus, 2-(3,4-dimethoxyphenyl)-5,7-dihydroxy-6,8-dimethyl-4H-chromen-4-one is considered to be a flavonoid lipid molecule. 5,7-Dihydroxy-3',4'-dimethoxy-6,8-dimethylflavone is found in Boerhavia diffusa . 2-(3,4-Dimethoxyphenyl)-5,7-dihydroxy-6,8-dimethyl-4H-chromen-4-one is a very hydrophobic molecule, practically insoluble (in water), and relatively neutral. |
