| Description | 1,3,4-Trihydroxy-9,10-dioxo-9,10-dihydroanthracene-2-carboxylic acid belongs to the class of organic compounds known as anthracenecarboxylic acids. These are organic compounds containing a carboxylic acid group attached to an anthracene ring system. Pseudopurpurin is found in Asperula spp., Galium rubioides, Galium spp., Relbunium spp., Rubia akane, Rubia cordifolia , Rubia tinctorum and Sherardia arvensis. 1,3,4-Trihydroxy-9,10-dioxo-9,10-dihydroanthracene-2-carboxylic acid is an extremely weak basic (essentially neutral) compound (based on its pKa). |
