| Description | (2S,3S,4R,5R,6R)-6-[(2S)-2-(3,4-dihydroxyphenyl)-2-hydroxyethoxy]-4,5-dihydroxy-2-({[(2S,3S,4R,5R,6R)-3,4,5-trihydroxy-6-methyloxan-2-yl]oxy}methyl)oxan-3-yl (2E)-3-(3,4-dihydroxyphenyl)prop-2-enoate belongs to the class of organic compounds known as coumaric acids and derivatives. These are aromatic compounds containing Aromatic compounds containing a cinnamic acid moiety (or a derivative thereof) hydroxylated at the C2 (ortho-), C3 (meta-), or C4 (para-) carbon atom of the benzene ring. Suspensaside is found in Forsythia koreana, Forsythia suspensa and Forsythia viridissima. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on (2S,3S,4R,5R,6R)-6-[(2S)-2-(3,4-dihydroxyphenyl)-2-hydroxyethoxy]-4,5-dihydroxy-2-({[(2S,3S,4R,5R,6R)-3,4,5-trihydroxy-6-methyloxan-2-yl]oxy}methyl)oxan-3-yl (2E)-3-(3,4-dihydroxyphenyl)prop-2-enoate. |
