| Description | Austrobailignan 1 belongs to the class of organic compounds known as lignan lactones. These are lignans that contain a lactone moiety. They include 1-aryltetralin lactones, dibenzylbutyrolactone lignans, and podophyllotoxins, among others. Austrobailignan 1 is found in Amyris pinnata, Austrobaileya maculata, Austrobaileya scandens and Koelreuteria elegans. Austrobailignan 1 was first documented in 2015 (PMID: 26147394). Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on Austrobailignan 1. |
