DescriptionMillettone belongs to the class of organic compounds known as rotenones. These are rotenoids with a structure based on a 6a,12a-dihydrochromeno[3,4-b]chromen-12(6H)-one skeleton. Thus, millettone is considered to be a flavonoid. Millettone is found in Lonchocarpus rugosus, Millettia dura, Millettia usaramensis subsp. usaramensis , Piscidia erythrina and Piscidia piscipula. Millettone was first documented in 2003 (PMID: 14561074). Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on Millettone.
