DescriptionSenecivernine belongs to the class of organic compounds known as macrolides and analogues. These are organic compounds containing a lactone ring of at least twelve members. Senecivernine is found in Osyris alba, Senecio ceratophylloides, Senecio inaequidens, Jacobaea vulgaris, Senecio selloi, Senecio seratophiloides, Senecio vernalis and Senecio vulgaris. Senecivernine was first documented in 2005 (PMID: 15904942). Based on a literature review a small amount of articles have been published on Senecivernine (PMID: 35086011) (PMID: 32962136).
