| Description | (6S)-6-methyl-1-oxo-1H,3H,4H,6H,7H-pyrano[3,4-c]pyridine-5-carbaldehyde belongs to the class of organic compounds known as delta valerolactones. These are cyclic organic compounds containing an oxan-2- one moiety. Gentiflavine is found in Erythraea centaurium, Gentiana asclepiadea , Gentiana spp., Swertia connata and Swertia marginata. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on (6S)-6-methyl-1-oxo-1H,3H,4H,6H,7H-pyrano[3,4-c]pyridine-5-carbaldehyde. |
