N-Methylmescaline is found in Acacia rigidula Benth., Alhagi pseudalhagi , Anhalonium lewinii, Gymnocalycium quehlianum, Gymnocalycium riojense, Lophophora willamsii, Lophophora williamsii, Senegalia berlandieri, Turbinicarpus schmiedickeanus and Vachellia rigidula. Methyl[2-(3,4,5-trimethoxyphenyl)ethyl]amine is a very strong basic compound (based on its pKa).
