| Description | (4AS,5S,8aR)-1,1,4a-trimethyl-6-methylidene-5-(3-methylidenepent-4-en-1-yl)-decahydronaphthalene belongs to the class of organic compounds known as diterpenoids. These are terpene compounds formed by four isoprene units. Sclarene is found in Agathis australis , Araucaria columnaris, Araucaria muelleri, Cistus creticus, Cistus incanus, Cryptomeria japonica, Dacrydium biforme, Dacrydium intermedium, Halocarpus bidwillii, Lepidothamnus intermedius, Prumnopitys andina and Thujopsis dolabrata. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on (4aS,5S,8aR)-1,1,4a-trimethyl-6-methylidene-5-(3-methylidenepent-4-en-1-yl)-decahydronaphthalene. |
