Common NameKaempferol 3-(2''-rhamnosyl-6''-acetylgalactoside) 7-rhamnoside
DescriptionKaempferol 3-(2''-rhamnosyl-6''-acetylgalactoside) 7-rhamnoside belongs to the class of organic compounds known as flavonoid-7-o-glycosides. These are phenolic compounds containing a flavonoid moiety which is O-glycosidically linked to carbohydrate moiety at the C7-position. Kaempferol 3-(2''-rhamnosyl-6''-acetylgalactoside) 7-rhamnoside is an extremely weak basic (essentially neutral) compound (based on its pKa). Outside of the human body, Kaempferol 3-(2''-rhamnosyl-6''-acetylgalactoside) 7-rhamnoside has been detected, but not quantified in, broad beans and pulses. This could make kaempferol 3-(2''-rhamnosyl-6''-acetylgalactoside) 7-rhamnoside a potential biomarker for the consumption of these foods.
