Common NameIsorhamnetin 3-glucoside 4'-rhamnoside
DescriptionIsorhamnetin 3-glucoside 4'-rhamnoside belongs to the class of organic compounds known as flavonoid-3-o-glycosides. These are phenolic compounds containing a flavonoid moiety which is O-glycosidically linked to carbohydrate moiety at the C3-position. Isorhamnetin 3-glucoside 4'-rhamnoside is an extremely weak basic (essentially neutral) compound (based on its pKa). Outside of the human body, Isorhamnetin 3-glucoside 4'-rhamnoside has been detected, but not quantified in, parsnips. Isorhamnetin 3-glucoside 4'-rhamnoside is found in Reseda gredensis. This could make isorhamnetin 3-glucoside 4'-rhamnoside a potential biomarker for the consumption of these foods.
