Description3-Epicycloeucalenol belongs to the class of organic compounds known as cycloartanols and derivatives. These are steroids containing a cycloartanol moiety. 3-Epicycloeucalenol is an extremely weak basic (essentially neutral) compound (based on its pKa). Outside of the human body, 3-epicycloeucalenol has been detected, but not quantified in, fruits.
