| Common Name | Cofaryloside |
|---|
| Description | Cofaryloside belongs to the class of organic compounds known as diterpene glycosides. These are diterpenoids in which an isoprene unit is glycosylated. Cofaryloside is an extremely weak basic (essentially neutral) compound (based on its pKa). Outside of the human body, cofaryloside has been detected, but not quantified in, coffee and coffee products. This could make cofaryloside a potential biomarker for the consumption of these foods. |
