Common NameLyciumoside VII
DescriptionLyciumoside VII belongs to the class of organic compounds known as diterpene glycosides. These are diterpenoids in which an isoprene unit is glycosylated. Lyciumoside VII is an extremely weak basic (essentially neutral) compound (based on its pKa). Outside of the human body, Lyciumoside VII has been detected, but not quantified in, a few different foods, such as coffee and coffee products, herbs and spices, and tea. This could make lyciumoside VII a potential biomarker for the consumption of these foods.
