Description | (1S,2S,5R,7S,10R,11S,14S,15S,16R)-14-[(2S,5R)-2-hydroxy-5-[(1R,2R)-2-methylcyclopropyl]hexan-2-yl]-2,15-dimethyltetracyclo[8.7.0.0²,⁷.0¹¹,¹⁵]Heptadecane-5,16-diol belongs to the class of organic compounds known as cholesterols and derivatives. Cholesterols and derivatives are compounds containing a 3-hydroxylated cholestane core. aragusterol I is found in Xestospongia testudinaria. It was first documented in 2013 (Nguyen, X. C., et al.). Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on (1S,2S,5R,7S,10R,11S,14S,15S,16R)-14-[(2S,5R)-2-hydroxy-5-[(1R,2R)-2-methylcyclopropyl]hexan-2-yl]-2,15-dimethyltetracyclo[8.7.0.0²,⁷.0¹¹,¹⁵]Heptadecane-5,16-diol. |
