| Description | (1R,3S,5S,8S,12S,13S)-8-hydroxy-1,5-dimethyl-9-methylidene-13-(prop-1-en-2-yl)-4-oxatricyclo[10.3.0.0³,⁵]Pentadecan-15-one belongs to the class of organic compounds known as secondary alcohols. Secondary alcohols are compounds containing a secondary alcohol functional group, with the general structure HOC(R)(R') (R,R'=alkyl, aryl). (1R,3S,4S,7S,11S,12S)-3,4-epoxy-7-hydroxy-14-oxo-8(17),18-dolabelladiene is found in Dilophus spiralis. (1R,3S,4S,7S,11S,12S)-3,4-epoxy-7-hydroxy-14-oxo-8(17),18-dolabelladiene was first documented in 2012 (Ioannou, E., et al.). Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on (1R,3S,5S,8S,12S,13S)-8-hydroxy-1,5-dimethyl-9-methylidene-13-(prop-1-en-2-yl)-4-oxatricyclo[10.3.0.0³,⁵]Pentadecan-15-one. |
