| Description | 1,6,6-Trimethyl-2alpha-chloro-4beta-isopropyl-3abeta,7abeta-epoxyhydrindane-1beta-ol belongs to the class of organic compounds known as sesquiterpenoids. These are terpenes with three consecutive isoprene units. 1beta,6beta,8beta,9alpha-8-chloro-1,6-epoxy-9-brasilanol is found in Laurencia obtusa. 1beta,6beta,8beta,9alpha-8-chloro-1,6-epoxy-9-brasilanol was first documented in 2002 (Iliopoulou, D., et al.). Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on 1,6,6-Trimethyl-2alpha-chloro-4beta-isopropyl-3abeta,7abeta-epoxyhydrindane-1beta-ol. |
