| Description | 4-({4'-Hydroxy-3-[2-(4-hydroxyphenyl)ethynyl]-[1,1'-biphenyl]-2-yl}(4-hydroxyphenyl)methylidene)cyclohexa-2,5-dien-1-one belongs to the class of organic compounds known as linear diarylheptanoids. These are diarylheptanoids with an open heptane chain. The two aromatic rings are linked only by the heptane chain. selaginellin A is found in Selaginella tamariscina. selaginellin A was first documented in 2008 (Cheng, X.-L., et al.). Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on 4-({4'-hydroxy-3-[2-(4-hydroxyphenyl)ethynyl]-[1,1'-biphenyl]-2-yl}(4-hydroxyphenyl)methylidene)cyclohexa-2,5-dien-1-one. |
