(+)-(10R*)-cembra-1E,3E,7E,11Z,16-pentaen-20,10-olide is found in Croton gratissimus. (+)-(10R*)-cembra-1E,3E,7E,11Z,16-pentaen-20,10-olide was first documented in 2011 (Langat, M. K., et al.). These are prenol lipids containing a lactone ring (4E,6Z,10Z,13R)-7,11-dimethyl-4-(prop-1-en-2-yl)-14-oxabicyclo[11.2.1]Hexadeca-1(16),4,6,10-tetraen-15-one is a strongly basic compound (based on its pKa). |
