These are diterpenoids with a structure based on the isocopalane (Tetradecahydro-1,1,4a,7,8,8a-hexamethylphenanthrene) or the 15,16-epoxyisocopalane skeleton. 20-acetoxy-19-hydroxyspongia-13(16),14-diene is found in Spongia sp. 20-acetoxy-19-hydroxyspongia-13(16),14-diene was first documented in 2008 (Carroll, A. R., et al.). Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on CHEMBL512825.
