| Description | 4,7-Dimethoxyphenanthren-2-ol belongs to the class of organic compounds known as phenanthrols. Phenanthrols are compounds containing a phenanthrene (or its hydrogenated derivative) to which a hydroxyl group is attached. 2-hydroxy-4,7-dimethoxyphenanthrene is found in Cremastra appendiculata. 2-hydroxy-4,7-dimethoxyphenanthrene was first documented in 2006 (Xue, Z., et al.). Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on 4,7-dimethoxyphenanthren-2-ol. |
