DescriptionAromadendrene oxide 2 belongs to the class of organic compounds known as 5,10-cycloaromadendrane sesquiterpenoids. These are aromadendrane sesquiterpenoids that arise from the C5-C10 cyclization of the aromadendrane skeleton. (+)-10-(ethylene oxide)-allo-aromadendrane is found in Curcuma kwangsiensis , Curcuma longa , Curcuma phaeocaulis , Curcuma wenyujin , Duguetia glabriuscula and Piper nigrum . (+)-10-(ethylene oxide)-allo-aromadendrane was first documented in 2009 (PMID: 19476010). Based on a literature review a small amount of articles have been published on Aromadendrene oxide 2 (PMID: 30166097) (PMID: 29407546).
