Description 5-hydroxy-8-(3'-methyl-2'-butenyl)-2,2,7-trimethyl-2H-1-chromene-6-carbox+ is found in Peperomia serpens (Sw.) Loudon (Piperaceae). 5-hydroxy-8-(3'-methyl-2'-butenyl)-2,2,7-trimethyl-2H-1-chromene-6-carbox+ was first documented in 2006 (Kitamura, R.O.S., et al.). Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on 5-hydroxy-2,2,7-trimethyl-8-(3-methylbut-2-en-1-yl)-2H-chromene-6-carboxylic acid.
