| Description | (1S,2R,7R,8R,10R,11R,12S,15R)-7,8,11-trihydroxy-14-[(1S)-1-[(2S,3S)-3-hydroxy-4,5-dimethyl-6-oxo-3,6-dihydro-2H-pyran-2-yl]ethyl]-2,15-dimethyl-3-oxotetracyclo[8.7.0.0²,⁷.0¹¹,¹⁵]Heptadeca-4,13-dien-12-yl acetate belongs to the class of organic compounds known as withanolides and derivatives. These are c28 steroids structurally characterized by an ergostane skeleton usually functionalized at carbons 1, 22 and 26 to form a lactone ring. physagulin M is found in Physalis angulata L. and Physalis angulata (Solanaceae). physagulin M was first documented in 2006 (Abe, F., et al.). Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on (1S,2R,7R,8R,10R,11R,12S,15R)-7,8,11-trihydroxy-14-[(1S)-1-[(2S,3S)-3-hydroxy-4,5-dimethyl-6-oxo-3,6-dihydro-2H-pyran-2-yl]ethyl]-2,15-dimethyl-3-oxotetracyclo[8.7.0.0²,⁷.0¹¹,¹⁵]Heptadeca-4,13-dien-12-yl acetate. |
