Description Roquefortine J is found in Penicillium and Penicillium granulatum. Roquefortine J was first documented in 2018 (PMID: 29618769). Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on (1S,4E,9R)-6-hydroxy-4-[(1H-imidazol-5-yl)methylidene]-9-(2-methylbut-3-en-2-yl)-2,5,16-triazatetracyclo[7.7.0.0²,⁷.0¹⁰,¹⁵]Hexadeca-5,7,10,12,14-pentaen-3-one.
