Description Spiroviolene is found in Streptomyces and Streptomyces violens. Spiroviolene was first documented in 2017 (PMID: 28146322). Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on (1'R,2R,2'S,5R,8'R)-2,5,8',11',11'-pentamethylspiro[cyclopentane-1,5'-tricyclo[6.3.0.0²,⁶]Undecan]-6'-ene.
