| Description | (2E)-5-[(6R,8R)-6-hydroxy-2-(hydroxymethyl)-6,8-dimethyl-5,6,7,8-tetrahydronaphthalen-1-yl]penta-2,4-dienoic acid belongs to the class of organic compounds known as tetralins. These are polycyclic aromatic compounds containing a tetralin moiety, which consists of a benzene fused to a cyclohexane. Tanzawaic acid G is found in Penicillium citrinum. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on (2E)-5-[(6R,8R)-6-hydroxy-2-(hydroxymethyl)-6,8-dimethyl-5,6,7,8-tetrahydronaphthalen-1-yl]penta-2,4-dienoic acid. |
