Description(4S,8aR,11R,12R,12aR)-12-hydroxy-11-methoxy-4-methyl-dodecahydro-1H-3-benzoxecine-2,9-dione belongs to the class of organic compounds known as oxocins. Oxocins are compounds containing an oxocin ring, which is a eight-member unsaturated aromatic ring containing one oxygen atom and seven carbon atoms. 4-hydroxy-3-methoxy-11-methyldecahydro-1H-benzoxecine-1,12-dione is found in Phomopsis. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on (4S,8aR,11R,12R,12aR)-12-hydroxy-11-methoxy-4-methyl-dodecahydro-1H-3-benzoxecine-2,9-dione.
