Description(2S)-2-{[(2R,3S)-3-methyl-2-[(2S)-1-[(2S)-2-methyldecanoyl]pyrrolidine-2-carbonyloxy]pentanoyl]oxy}propanoic acid belongs to the class of organic compounds known as depsipeptides. These are natural or synthetic compounds having sequences of amino and hydroxy carboxylic acid residues (usually α-amino and α-hydroxy acids), commonly but not necessarily regularly alternating. Tumonoic acid G is found in Blennothrix, Blennothrix cantharidosma and Blennothrix cantharidosmum. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on (2S)-2-{[(2R,3S)-3-methyl-2-[(2S)-1-[(2S)-2-methyldecanoyl]pyrrolidine-2-carbonyloxy]pentanoyl]oxy}propanoic acid.
