Description Phelligridin I is found in Inonotus obliquus and Phellinus igniarius. It was first documented in 2007 (PMID: 17279797). Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on 3-[2-(2-{6-[(E)-2-(3,4-dihydroxyphenyl)ethenyl]-4-hydroxy-2-oxo-2H-pyran-3-yl}-4,5-dihydroxyphenyl)ethenyl]-8,9-dihydroxy-1H,6H-pyrano[4,3-c]isochromene-1,6-dione.
