Description5-(1-Hydroxypropan-2-yl)-3,8-dimethylnaphthalen-2-ol belongs to the class of organic compounds known as sesquiterpenoids. These are terpenes with three consecutive isoprene units. 3,12-dihydroxycadalene is found in Phomopsis. 3,12-dihydroxycadalene was first documented in 2006 (PMID: 16857221). Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on 5-(1-hydroxypropan-2-yl)-3,8-dimethylnaphthalen-2-ol.
