Description3,5-Dichloro-2-[4-hydroxy-2-methoxy-6-(methoxycarbonyl)phenoxy]-4-methylbenzoic acid belongs to the class of organic compounds known as diphenylethers. These are aromatic compounds containing two benzene rings linked to each other through an ether group. Geodin hydrate is found in Aspergillus terreus. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on 3,5-dichloro-2-[4-hydroxy-2-methoxy-6-(methoxycarbonyl)phenoxy]-4-methylbenzoic acid.
