Description | (2R,4R)-2-[(4S,5S)-2-(2-hydroxyphenyl)-5-methyl-4,5-dihydro-1,3-thiazol-4-yl]-3,4-dimethyl-1,3-thiazolidine-4-carboxylic acid belongs to the class of organic compounds known as d-alpha-amino acids. These are alpha amino acids which have the D-configuration of the alpha-carbon atom. Watasemycin B is found in Streptomyces and Streptomyces sp. TP-A0597. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on (2R,4R)-2-[(4S,5S)-2-(2-hydroxyphenyl)-5-methyl-4,5-dihydro-1,3-thiazol-4-yl]-3,4-dimethyl-1,3-thiazolidine-4-carboxylic acid. |
