Description Gibbestatin B is found in Streptomyces sp. C39. Gibbestatin B was first documented in 1999 (PMID: 10604763). Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on 2-hydroxy-6-[(3E,5S,7E)-5-[(1S)-1-methoxyethyl]-7-methyl-8-(3-methyloxiran-2-yl)-6-oxoocta-1,3,7-trien-1-yl]benzoic acid.
