Description Streptimidone is found in Micromonospora coerulea, Sesbania drummondii, Streptomyces hygroscopicus and Streptomycete S 300. Streptimidone was first documented in 1999 (PMID: 10552660). Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on 6-hydroxy-4-[(2R,5S,6E)-2-hydroxy-5,7-dimethyl-4-oxonona-6,8-dien-1-yl]-2,3,4,5-tetrahydropyridin-2-one.
