Description | 4-Hydroxy-6-[2-(2-methyl-1,2,6,7,8,8a-hexahydronaphthalen-1-yl)ethyl]oxan-2-one belongs to the class of organic compounds known as delta valerolactones. These are cyclic organic compounds containing an oxan-2- one moiety. ML-236C is found in Penicillium, Penicillium citrinum and Penicillium citrinum SANK 18767. ML-236C was first documented in 1976 (PMID: 1010803). Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on 4-hydroxy-6-[2-(2-methyl-1,2,6,7,8,8a-hexahydronaphthalen-1-yl)ethyl]oxan-2-one. |
