Naphthofurans are compounds containing a furan ring fused to a naphthalene moiety. Furan is a 5 membered- ring aromatic ring with four carbon and one oxygen atoms. Naphthalene is a polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon made up of two fused benzene rings. (1r,8s,9s,10s,13s)-6,9,10-trimethyl-2-oxo-4,14-dioxatetracyclo[7.5.0.0¹,¹³.0³,⁷]tetradeca-3(7),5-dien-8-yl 2-methylprop-2-enoate is found in Euryops linifolius. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on (1R,8S,9S,10S,13S)-6,9,10-trimethyl-2-oxo-4,14-dioxatetracyclo[7.5.0.0¹,¹³.0³,⁷]Tetradeca-3(7),5-dien-8-yl 2-methylprop-2-enoate. |
