Description2'-(Beta-D-Glucopyranosyloxy)-5,6'-dihydroxy-7,8-dimethoxyflavone belongs to the class of organic compounds known as 8-o-methylated flavonoids. These are flavonoids with methoxy groups attached to the C8 atom of the flavonoid backbone. 5-hydroxy-2-(2-hydroxy-6-{[(2s,3r,4s,5s,6r)-3,4,5-trihydroxy-6-(hydroxymethyl)oxan-2-yl]oxy}phenyl)-7,8-dimethoxychromen-4-one is found in Lagochilus leiacanthus and Scutellaria baicalensis. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on 2'-(beta-D-Glucopyranosyloxy)-5,6'-dihydroxy-7,8-dimethoxyflavone.
