These are heterocyclic steroids containing a furospirostane moiety, which a skeleton characterized by the presence of a 1,6-dioxaspiro[4.4]Nonane ring system and an androstane moiety. (1's,2s,2's,4s,4's,7'r,8'r,9's,12's,13'r,16's)-7'-hydroxy-4,5,5,7',9',13'-hexamethyl-5'-oxaspiro[oxolane-2,6'-pentacyclo[10.8.0.0²,⁹.0⁴,⁸.0¹³,¹⁸]icosan]-18'-en-16'-yl acetate is found in Sarcophyton crassocaule. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on (22S,24S)-24-Methyl-22,25-epoxyfurosta-5-ene-3beta,20-diol 3-acetate. |
