These are terpene molecules containing six isoprene units. Resinone is found in Flourensia resinosa, Maytenus chiapensis, Stauntonia obovatifoliola and Stauntonia obovatifoliola Hayata subsp.intermedia. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on (1R,2R,4S,5S,8R,9S,10R,13R,14R,19R)-4-hydroxy-1,2,5,14,18,18-hexamethyl-8-(prop-1-en-2-yl)pentacyclo[11.8.0.0²,¹⁰.0⁵,⁹.0¹⁴,¹⁹]Henicosan-17-one. |
