Description(2R,3S,4S,5R,6S)-2-(hydroxymethyl)-6-{[(3R,6E,11S)-2,11,12-trihydroxy-2,6-dimethyl-10-methylidenedodec-6-en-3-yl]oxy}oxane-3,4,5-triol belongs to the class of organic compounds known as terpene glycosides. These are prenol lipids containing a carbohydrate moiety glycosidically bound to a terpene backbone. trikamsesquiside A is found in Trillium kamtschaticum. trikamsesquiside A was first documented in 2007 (Ono, M., et al.). Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on (2R,3S,4S,5R,6S)-2-(hydroxymethyl)-6-{[(3R,6E,11S)-2,11,12-trihydroxy-2,6-dimethyl-10-methylidenedodec-6-en-3-yl]oxy}oxane-3,4,5-triol.
